What material are the Maite bags made with?

Maite Kalnina bags are crafted from premium genuine leather and finished with high-grade stainless steel hardware (18k gold-plated on gold hardware models) for lasting durability and elegance.

Are the Maite bags heavy?

Our heaviest bags weigh 0.7 kg approximately, making them easy to carry all day.

Is there a warranty for my Maite bag?

Every Maite Kalnina bag is designed to be with you for a lifetime.

But we know that life happens. That’s why we offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all our bags.

The WARRANTY covers anything that should never happen to your bag.

Simply email a photo of the damaged item to our support team at help@maitekalnina.com, along with your order number, and we'll take care of the rest— whether it's sending a replacement or offering Maite Kalnina store credit for something new. No questions, no hassle.

Please note: our Lifetime Warranty covers only what we guarantee won’t happen. We cannot replace items that are lost, stolen, intentionally damaged, or damaged by third parties. Photos are required to process claims, and failure to provide them voids the warranty.

Maite Kalnina applies a fair use policy and reserves the right to decline claims if the warranty is being misused.

How to keep my bag pristine?

Maite Kalnina products are made using genuine leather. It is impossible to guarantee that its appearance will remain unchanged with standard use. Marks or irregularities may stand out; however, they should not be seen as flaws as they are inherent to the materials and techniques used.
To avoid any occurrence of color transfer, we recommend that you avoid putting it in direct contact with clothing or other surfaces in contrasting colors.
If this product has metal components, we recommend protecting those from liquids, harsh chemicals, and sudden impact against hard surfaces.

To care for this product, gently rub any residue off with a soft, dry, natural-colored cloth. If it comes into contact with liquids, pat it immediately and leave it to dry in fresh air. Do not use neutral or aggressive chemicals to clean. Do not machine-wash. Instead, we recommend seeing a cleaning specialist. Do not expose the product to direct sources of heat or sunlight for prolonged periods. After each use, we advise keeping it in its pouch to protect it from light, dust, and moisture.

How long to receive my order?

Also allow us up to 3 business days before contacting us in case you did not receive your tracking number yet.

Where do you ship from?

We have inventory ready to be shipped in warehouses all across the globe: United States, Portugal & China.

I haven't received my order confirmation?

First of all, please check that our emails did not land in your spam/junk folder. If you think you've entered the wrong address, please email us at help@maitekalnina.com and we'll update your details.

How to track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email (or text) that contains your tracking number.

You can use this tracking number either HERE or on an external international tracking website such as https://www.17track.net/ to track your package in real-time, for your peace of mind.

If you did not receive your confirmation email (or text) within 5 business days after placing your order, please send our customer support a message at help@maitekalnina.com and we'll sort this out.

Is my payment secure and what are the payment options?

We use secure, third-party payment gateways to process your payments. We do not retain your credit card information during or after the transaction.

If you choose to save your card information, your credit card details will be tokenized, encrypted, and stored securely by the third-party gateway, and will be submitted directly to your bank for authorisation.

We accept payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Union Pay, Shop Pay, Klarna & PayPal.

When will my refund be processed?

We aim to process your refund within 14 business days after receiving your return at our warehouse.

Once your refund is issued, you’ll receive an email notification. Please note, it may take up to 5 additional business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processing time.

If you haven’t received the refund after 5 business days, we recommend contacting your bank directly.

Will I pay customs?

In most cases, you will not be charged any customs fees. However, customs charges are out of our control and are dependent on the local government. If your order is subject to customs charges, you will be responsible to pay them.

How to change or cancel my order?

If you want to change or cancel your order, please get in touch with us as soon as you can after ordering. We can typically process changes and cancellations within 6 hours of you placing your order, if your package isn't in transit yet.
